English Grade 3 Revision Worksheets

Descriptive Writing Topics:

1.      A childhood memory.

2.      Your favourite vacations.

3.      What do you want to be when you grow up?

4.      A hobby.

5.      A funny memory.

6.      My best friend.

7.      My favourite teacher.

8.      A day at school.

 

Note: A descriptive writing should have a paragraph and each paragraph should have at least 6 to 8 sentences.

 

Narrative Writing Topics

1.      Narrate an incident which you always find funny.

2.      Narrate an incident which helped you to become a better person.

3.      Narrate an incident where you have learnt an important lesson.

 

Note: A narrative writing should comprise of 6 to 8 sentences and should make sense related to the topic with proper beginning and ending.

 

Dialogue Writing Topics:

1.      Write a conversation between a teacher and a student when he forgot to do his homework.

2.      Write a conversation between you and your mother to convince her to let you go to play.

3.      Write a conversation between you and your friend to persuade him to study as exams are near.

4.      Write a conversation between you and your elder sibling where you are requesting him to let you watch your favourite T.V show.

 

Story Writing Topics:

1.      A day spent with an alien

2.      A strange time machine

3.      The old Lamp

4.      Adventure in the Sea

5.      The magical Box

6.      My pet in danger

Note: A story should contain at least 3 paragraphs. A proper sequencing of events should be followed. Take care of the use of tenses. A story must have a proper beginning and ending and substantial matter in the middle too.
